Books in Print (via LIRN)

When I try to access Books in Print through LIRN, I'm asked for a username and password. I don't have those. Any advice for me?

Hmm...I just tried it and got in just fine through the student portal. Temporary hiccup perhaps?

It still doesn't work for me today. I can get in through the student portal, but when I search for a book, the site asks for username/password.

Ahh...I see what you mean. It's not working for me either.

I've been having the same problem for a while. I thought Emily told us recently that it had been fixed, and was now up and running. But, I guess we must be having problems again. :( We'll have to let her know about this issue.

It's not a hiccup, there is a problem with the direct login. If you use a password to go in to use it, then it is ok. So, if you need to use it, try going through:

http://www.lirn.net/services.shtml
Then password 95774.

It should work this way, at least temporarily.

This is a public password, so if you want to share it with faculty, you can.
