Is anyone else "Twittering"?

Are you "Twittering"? What do you use Twitter for? Would this be useful for librarians? Would this be useful for us?

Mark has some ideas about Twittering. See his comments to the Marketing Works blog post. (Now if only I knew how to insert a link to a previous thread. Karen, that was pretty cool when you did that.)

This would be an example of how to link within the comment. See Mark's comment here.

check out: http://www.technologyreview.com/Infotech/19713/?a=f

It's probably the best video on what Twitter is and what the buzz is.

Here are my bookmarks for more Twitter related articles: http://del.icio.us/myrasmussencollege/microblogging

Bottom Line: I started taking Twitter (microblogging) seriously about 3 months ago and I'm hooked.

Locally, I stay in tune with what other like mind people are doing and we sometimes "Tweet" up. Other times, I pay attention to what certain people in the industry are doing - trust me, they post more than what they are having for lunch. A lot of people are using it for polls lately.

I've also used it for seminars I can't attend - check out: http://twitter.com/webcomforum

I could go on and on...

Cheers,

Mark
