I like it! Have we ever given though to mousepads? I could see us having meebo mousepads in the library and maybe online students could receive them as well... hard to avoid noticing them!
I also think it would be kind of fun to do some marketing using an example of a fake conversation between librarian and student on meebo. Obviously the "student's" question would be short and to the point - and would allow the librarian to explain more about meebo.
Student: I heard about Meebo in class. What is it and how do I use it? Librarian: It's a chat service that Rstudents can use to communicate with campus librarians! Online and residential students can use it to ask questions about research and their assignments. Student: That's great! So here's my question ...
I have also been thinking of mousepads.. I am not sure how expensive that would be.. but I love the idea. Maybe just mailed to National Online students since all the campuses have new ones???
I think a short video would be a really smart idea.
I like it too, but being new to blogging, posted a suggestion that pens with the meebo address might be an idea also. It seems practical since students are always looking for pens at our library.
I like the idea of a cling. How about letter size posters to put by the computers also? I am not so sure that students pay much attention to the mouse pads. No one here mentioned the new ones. I also like Amy's idea of a dialogue. Maybe put it on the posters though, some students have mentioned that they do not look at the blog because of all the complaining.

Like it much better than edition #1.

I like the idea of the conversation... how would we use that? Posters? Or maybe a short video that we could put on the Rasmussen (the general) blog?
I think mousepads would be cool but I think marketing would have issues, since they just put new mousepads throughout most of the school.

Do you want the mousepad to have the same look?
Should we include the e-mail address on the mousepad and/or the cling?
I think it should say chat with a Rasmussen Librarian...
I really like the look, and the college name looks much better on left.

Pens may work. I guess i'm just concerned that there isn't enough room on a pen to share the information students need to know
There isn't enough room on a pen. I agree.
I think the email address should be included on the mouse pad and/or cling.
I love this version. It's so clean.
I'm trying to think of great marketing ideas. What about bookmarks? Business cards? I think clings would be the most effective tool.
