ALA

I am excited about the chance to attend ALA. So much so that I have already checked the web for the dates....July 9- 15 and talked with my husband and family about attending. I am wondering who is planning on going and how is everyone planning on getting there?

I'll probably fly. (Strange that I can fly to Chicago--via Minneapolis--for $200 less than I can fly to Minneapolis.)

I'll be flying. Some sites (like expedia) have rates for July already- but they should go down as we get closer. Usually there is a discount through United, but I haven't used it yet. Check out the ALA Travel & Hotel page.

For those who don't like to fly... Cynthia :-) the ALA Annual page has info on other forms of transportation.

Super Shuttle is giving a discount this year for Midwinter, maybe will still be the case for Annual.

Also, the wiki will have info for those looking for roomates, too.

I can take a fancy bus from Rockford to Chicago for somewhere around $38 round trip. :^)
