I'm wondering what the rest of you do for ID cards for online students who live too far from campus. I know I can simply assign a library patron barcode to distance students, but I'm sure they would like the discounts that come with having a student ID.
I told a patron today that I'd check with the rest of my team and would get back to her this week. I'd appreciate your input.

Dan's work study usually completes ID cards for online students. There is no picture, just a card that says "Student ID"...
When we move to a new ID system, my plan is to have a card that says "picture ID required to verify identity with this card" or something to that effect...
I recently enrolled in the online classes myself and was wondering if i would be receiving a student ID, and if so if anyone knew how long it takes??
