Mary came across this site in one of the classes she teaches. One of her students is doing a paper on plagiarism. She wanted me to read it and comment. I felt that many of the thoughts here were on target and I am going to look at plagiarism differently. I truely feel that many of our students fall into the misuse of resources category.

Thank you for this link, Lisa. It gives quite a comprehensive overview.
It is helpful for us and students to remember the WPA statement: "College writing is a process of goal setting, writing, giving and using feedback, revising, and editing. Effective assignments construct specific writing situations and build in ample room for response and revision."
